About Us
Pitmaston Park Badminton Club was established in 1955. We play for fun, practice and matches on Tuesdays in a large sports hall in central Worcester. We have several teams in the Worcestershire doubles league.
Who's Welcome
We are the friendliest league club in Worcester and are always open to visitors and new members. We had 26 members last season.
It costs £6 per night to play as a visitor (£4 for under 21s). The visitor fees you've paid will be deducted from your membership fee should you subsequently join.
Membership
Ideally our club would suit players capable of playing in league matches for the club. Whilst we are not a suitable club for beginners in the sport, we are open to accepting improvers who have potential.
Visitors are welcome to attend for a few weeks and we will provide feedback on whether their level of play is sufficient to become a regular member.
Our current membership fee is £130, or £78 if you are under the age of 21.
Members play for free every Tuesday in the winter season, which runs from the start of September to the end of April (usually 33 weeks). It also includes Badminton England membership and makes you eligible to play matches for us.
